Belarus has stopped sending oil to Europe

Belarus has suspended the supply of diesel fuel in European countries. It is reported by Reuters. Deliveries of Russian oil via Belarus to Poland and Germany are still being implemented.
Officially, the reasons for the suspension of deliveries of petroleum products are not reported, but this may be due to the fact that Russia, with January 1, 2011 no longer sell oil to Belarus. Russian companies reported that they had no contracts for the current year Belarusian counterparts. According to unofficial information, the parties can not agree on the price of oil.
In late 2010, Russia agreed to supply Belarus oil duty-free and, instead, Minsk should complete transfer to the Russian budget the duty on petroleum products produced at Belarusian refineries. Thus, the suspension of the Minsk supply of petroleum products may affect the income of the Russian budget.
From February 1, Belarus intends to increase the fee for transit of Russian oil at 12.5 percent. According to Russian media, then suppliers from Russia decided to raise the price of oil at $ 45 per ton, but in Minsk, this requirement does not agree. It is expected that in the near future talks on oil supplies will take place at the level of Prime Ministers of Russia and Belarus. As noted by Reuters, before the date of sale of Russian oil to Minsk is unlikely to resume.
