Belarusian Autoworks (BelAZ trademark) is planning to deliver several dozens of dump trucks to . Such an agreement was reached during a visit of the officials of several Polish mining companies to BelAZ. 

is a regular customer of BelAZ. They bought 18 dump trucks last year. During a meeting with the Polish delegation, Piotr Parkhomchik, the Director General of BelAZ, said that the company was interested in increasing the delivery of dump trucks to Poland.

The Polish businessmen watched the trucks in the test field, toured of the workshops and got familiar with the new equipment and the measuring laboratory. The Polish guests were primarily interested in the so-called “little” dump trucks, because small capacity dump trucks are used in Polish quarries. The mining companies, which use Belarusian dump trucks, praise their reliability. The members of the Polish delegation are going to negotiate the purchase of small capacity trucks with a BelAZ dealer in . 

Belarusian Autoworks was founded in the town of Zhodino in September 1948. The BelAZ product line inlcudes open-pit dump trucks, front end wheel loaders and bulldozers, recovery trucks, carrier vehicles for underground works, heavy-load carriers for metallurgical plants and other production machines. 

BelAZ employs about 10,000 people. Since its establishment the company has designed more than 500 modifications of dump trucks with the capacity from 27 tonnes up to 320 tonnes. BelAZ has produced more than 130,000 units of dump trucks, which operate in 70 countries throughout the world. BelAZ occupies one-third of the global market of dump trucks and is one of the top ten mining equipment producers in the world, such as Komatsu-Dresser, Euclid-Hitachi, Caterpillar, Liebherr, Terex, Kress.
