Bobruiskagromash sets assembly enterprise in Uzbekistan

Bobruiskagromash has set up a joint assembly enterprise to produce agricultural machines in , it was learnt from deputy head of the marketing department of the company Vasily Tsarik. 

The new joint venture was established at the premises of the company’s dealer Urgenchkormmash (the town of Urgench ) which specializes in the production of fodder choppers and can boast good production facilities and highly-professional staff. At first the new company will assemble ПТ -165 baling machines that are in great demand in . They are designed for small agricultural enterprises and farms that constitute the base of the Uzbek agriculture. This model of the baling machine has been manufactured by the Bobruisk company for three years already and has established itself on the CIS market. The company has obtained a certificate to apply the CE mark on this machine. 

As of June 24, 2009, the first lot of 25 machine sets has been shipped to , in July another 25 machines are to be delivered. The company has also signed a contract to supply 30 various machines to this country. “The Uzbek market is deemed very promising, thas is why we are doing our best to expand and advance our distribution network there. Apart from Urgenchkormmash, our interests in the region are represented by another two dealers which not only sell, but also provide maintenance service of our agricultural machinery,” Vasily Tsarik underlined. 

Over January-May, the company’s output in comparable prices made up Br90 billion, up 13.5% from the same period last year. The export grew 15.8% up to $20.2 million. 

Founded in 1974, Bobruiskagromash was reorganized into a joint-stock company in 2005. Bobruiskagromash is a major producer of trailed and mounted agricultural machines in the CIS and the Baltic states . The company makes over 50 agricultural machines mainly forage harvesters and distributors and organic fertiliser distributors and also machines for applying mineral fertilisers, roll flax harvesters, trailed vehicles for tractors and some other agricultural machines. The company employs around 2,400 people.
