President Alexander Lukashenko has sent a message of greetings to the participants of the Cultures of Peoples of Eurasia Festival, BelTA learnt in the presidential press-service. "This unique cultural event serves to unlock an enormous potential of national cultures of friendly states, unveil a constellation of genuine talents and become a sort of inspection of the progress made in realisation of joint projects in fine arts," said the President in his message of greetings. Alexander Lukashenko deems it symbolic that the event is taking place during the momentous year when Belarus marks the 65th anniversary of its liberation from the Nazis. This festival’s important feature is that the welcome guests will perform not only in Minsk, but also across the republic. ‘This will prove once more that Belarus is always open for good-will people of various ethnicities and denominations,’ said the President. "May the love of art, the pride for your culture and Homeland help you in reaching new peaks, consolidate intellectual ties, cooperation and mutual understanding between the member states of the Eurasian Economic Community," said Alexander Lukashenko in his message of greetings addressed to the participants of the festival.
