The leasing company TK Leasing, an official dealership of the Belarusian mechanical engineering company OAO Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark), has finished shipping 100 vehicles to Kaliningrad GorTrans, the municipal mass transit enterprise of the Russian city of Kaliningrad, the press service of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia told BelTA. The sum of the contract exceeds RUB1.5 billion. The model MAZ 203085 buses were handed over to the Kaliningrad enterprise in accordance with the signed contracts before 25 July. The Kaliningrad city administration and the Embassy of Belarus in Russia intend to arrange a solemn event on 28 July to hand over the new buses to the mass transit enterprise, noted the press service. Apart from that, the company OOO Kaliningrad MAZ Center has carried out a contract for the delivery of four MAZ 203085 buses worth RUB35 million to the Kaliningrad-based group of companies PAP. The Embassy of Belarus in Russia is working together with the Kaliningrad city administration discussing the purchase of another 100 MAZ buses of the same class in 2017 as part of the efforts meant to prepare the city for the 2018 world football championship.
