MTZ sales promotion in Europe discussed in Hungary

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary Alexander Khainovsky took part in an extended regional meeting of the production association Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) at the exhibition and warehouse center of the company Belarus Tractor in Hort, Hungary to discuss the strategy of enhancing the efficiency and promotion of Belarusian tractor sales in Europe, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

The participants of the meeting also reviewed MTZ performance in Europe, got familiar with a positive experience of the activity of the company Belarus Tractor on the Hungarian market. A special attention was placed on the issues related to service maintenance of the equipment, improvement of its quality and its compliance with the European standards as well as optimization of the dealer network in the region.

The meeting was attended by MTZ Director General Vladimir Volchok, First Deputy Director General Sergei Pakhomchik, Deputy Director General on Quality Anatoly Vorobyov, General Designer Andrei Stasilevich, representatives of the MTZ commodity distribution network in the European countries.

Owned by MTZ, Belarus Tractor Company (Hungary) sells Belarus tractors on the Hungarian market, having its own exhibition and warehouse center in the city of Hort. Tractors have recently became one of the leading positions of the Belarusian exports to Hungary. In 2012 Belarus sold 900 tractors worth of $16.5 million to Hungary. In January-June 2013 Hungary purchased $13.4 million worth of Belarusian vehicles (690 vehicles), 36.3% up on the same months a year ago.
