Belorusneft to use high-performance complex for higher oil inflow

A high-performance complex for carrying out acid and hydraulic fracturing operations in wells has been acquired by the Backfill Operations Department of the state industrial group Belorusneft. The complex includes eight units of special equipment, BelTA learnt from the press service of the company.

Currently the complex is undergoing tests in Belarusian oil fields. Hydraulic fracturing, which can be carried out with the help of this complex, makes it possible to increase the influx of hydrocarbons from the well. This technology is considered one of the most effective ones in petroleum production.

The topside equipment of the complex, including a station designed to monitor technological processes and a field laboratory, which was produced in Belarus, is mounted on an all-wheel drive (8x8) chassis produced by Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant. The vehicles are equipped with increased-power Euro-4 engines. The complex complies with requirements of Russian oil and gas companies as far as manufacturability, mobility, efficiency, ergonomic design and safety are concerned.

That is why, the specialists think, this machinery can be used to carry out service works in Russia and Ukraine in the future because of the high demand for this technology and equipment for foreign projects. Another complex with similar capabilities but lower performance has been successfully used by Belorusneft specialists in Russian oil fields.

The industrial group Belorusneft was founded in 1966. The company specializes in surveying, prospecting and developing oil fields, well drilling, the extraction of oil and associated petroleum gas.
