Mathematicians from 17 countries have come to Belarus to take part in the international conference “Analytical methods of analysis and differential equations" (AMADE-2011) which has opened in the Staiki sports complex, Minsk District, on 12 September, BelTA learned from associate professor of the Belarusian State University, academic secretary of the conference Marina Dubatovskaya.

Taking part in the forum are scientists from Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, India, Jordan, Italy, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, the U.S., Ukraine and France. The conference is structured into six sections. The participants will present their reports dealing with fundamental and applied research in mathematics, mechanical science, bio- and nano-mechanics.

Mathematic models can be used for making prognosis of diseases in dentistry, trauma surgery, and for improving the quality of diagnostics. The scientists will also discuss the application of mathematic methods in economic research. The expertise and knowledge of the participants of the conference will be useful for the construction of logistics centers and boosting Belarus’ transit potential.

The reports will be published in a special issue of the Cambridge Scholars Publishing, the UK. The conference is aimed to promote fundamental research and discover young and promising scientists. The Society for Analysis, its Applications and Computation (ISAAC) has established a special prize for the best report of a young scientist.

This year the forum is dedicated to the memory of a renowned mathematician Professor Anatoly Kilbas. His contributions to the theory of integral equations, fractional integro-differentiation, fractional differential equations, integral transforms and special functions were recognized by the international mathematical society. He is an author of more than 300 research articles, and 6 monographs published at the leading international publishing companies.
