Belarus will sell the controlling interest in the telecom engineering company Belremstroysvyaz and some shares in Minsktelecomstroy and Belsvyazstroy companies, Deputy Information Technologies and Communications Minister Sergei Nesterovich told BelTA.

In 2011 investors will be able to buy a 64.76% Belarus-owned share in Belremstroysvyaz. Apart from that, the government plans to sell slightly more than 10% of the authorized fund in Minsktelecomstroy. As much as 23.2% of the authorized fund in Belsvyazstroy will be available for purchase in 2012.

The open joint-stock company Belremstroysvyaz was registered as a commercial entity on 25 April 2000. The company specializes in building, rebuilding and repairing real estate premises, networks, electric communication systems and installations, in installing, tuning and maintaining fire alarm and intrusion alarm systems. The company also produces pavement tiles and furniture and provides automobile transportation services. The company is licensed to design and build responsibility level one and two installations.

The open joint-stock company Minsktelecomstroy emerged on the market through the conversion of specialized construction and installation directorate No. 7 (SSMU-7) of Belsvyazstroy group on 13 December 1996. Minsktelecomstroy specializes in designing and building networks, communication systems and installations across Belarus. The company boasts a certified manufacturing lab of its own.

The open joint-stock company Belsvyazstroy was created out of Belsvyazstroy group on 20 December 1996. The company specializes in designing, building and maintaining corporate automatic telephone offices, including line facilities, networks, local phone systems and installations, radio broadcasting systems, television reception systems, conference communication and telemetry systems.
