On 20 May President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed an order to funnel Br1.1 billion into financing the expenses of the Talented Youth Special Support Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus in 2011, BelTA learned from the presidential press service.

These funds will be spent on rewarding talented youth, organizing international and local contests, exhibitions, other events to promote creativity of young people, buying musical instruments, onstage costumes, materials and equipment for the artistic endeavor, professional training of young talents.

Alexander Lukashenko also approved the resolution of the Talented Youth Special Support Fund to funnel Br154.92 million into paying monetary prises and scholarships of the fund, providing material aid to students, buying musical instruments and onstage costumes, and training of students and holders of master’s degrees in Russian universities.

According to the press service, this resolution will help provide targeted state support to talented youth, create favorable conditions to find and encourage young talents.
