MINSK, February 25 (BelTA) – The government of Russia is planning to intensify work to set up the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia. The relevant instructions were given to federal executive bodies at a session of the governmental commission on economic integration presided by First Vice Premier of Russia Igor Shuvalov on February 25, BelTA learnt from the press-service of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers. The participants of the session discussed coordination of efforts during the Customs Union formation, development of Customs Union regulatory and legal basis, unified customs tariff and cooperation prospects between Russia, the World Trade Organization and the European Free Trade Association at the last stage of the Customs Union formation.
