The Customs Union member-states will join the WTO on a consolidated basis as it has been decided before, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev told media on 5 July.

“One of the EurAsEC pivotal tasks remains strengthening the positions of its member-states in the international trading relations. In this respect we praise the activity of the delegation of negotiations on the WTO consolidated accession process as we have agreed before,” Nursultan Nazarbayev said.

First Vice-Premier of Russia Igor Shuvalov told media that “the group of negotiations founded in 2009 continues coordinating the positions with the USA, EU, other trading partners on the WTO accession”.
