Belarus is ready to develop the dialogue with the as far as the American side is ready for it, Press Secretary of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Andrei Popov told media on February 5.

“We still believe that respect of the sides for each other’s interests is the basis of the dialogue. We have never shunned any communication and have no intention of doing it in the future,” underscored the official spokesperson of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

“As far as dialogue revitalization is concerned, we still believe that it lies with the American abolishment of the discriminatory economic decisions taken by the previous American administration against Belarusian companies. Our stance in this regard has not changed either. American partners are aware of this stance,” added Andrei Popov.
