The State Control Committee of Belarus and the Accounts Chamber of the will examine money spending for the establishment of the united air defence system, head of the Accounts Chamber Sergei Stepashin told media after a joint session of the boards of the two controlling bodies in Moscow on February 4.

According to Sergei Stepashin, “So far the programme for the Union State external border accomplishment has not been fully implemented but representatives of the Federal Security Service of Russia assured us that the money has been apportioned taking into account the establishment of the common border and the united air defence system”.

The official also remarked, controlling agencies of and had adjusted plans for this year taking into account resolutions of the session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, which was held on February 3. “We will keep an eye on everything relating to the united air defence system,” underscored Sergei Stepashin. He added that the controlling agencies have the authority to do so.
