News Krasny Pishchevik launches exports to Czechia and Poland
The Bobruisk-based Krasny Pishchevik company started to ship products to the Czech Republic and Poland, it was learnt from head of the marketing department of the company Igor Lebedev. The company shipped a pilot lot of marshmallow and marmalade. “The products have been delivered directly; now we are waiting for customer evaluation, after that we will decide on the volume of further supplies,” Igor Lebedev said. The products of Krasny Pishchevik are already known in Europe. The company is widely represented in Germany and Latvia. The company hopes to win new customers and increase exports to the EU. In 2009, the Krasny Pishchevik products were shipped to Canada and Mongolia. The company exports to the Baltic States, US, Russia, Moldova, Germany and Israel. The negotiations to launch exports to Kazakhstan and Tajikistan are in progress. The production capacities of the enterprise allow making over 19,000 tonnes of confectionary a year. The company sells up to 20% of its products abroad. In Q1 2010, confectionary worth $862,200 was sold on the foreign market, which is a bit less than in the previous years. This week the enterprise presents its products at an exhibition in Saint Petersburg, in May it plans to take part in an exhibition in Moscow. At present, the company focuses on the domestic market and actively expands its distribution network. It has two stores in Bobruisk, factory stores in Mogilev and Minsk, a pavilion at the Komarovsky market in the capital city, stands in Grodno and Gomel. Factory stands will be opened in Brest and Vitebsk in 2010. In Q1 2010, the company sold Br24.124 billion worth of products on the domestic market, up 1.2% over the same period a year before.
