Belarus is ready to set up joint manufactures with Tajikistan and advance its products to the Asian market, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on 26 November.

“We will be developing cooperation with Tajikistan by setting up joint ventures, and then advancing to the Asian market,” the Belarusian head of state said. Alexander Lukashenko noted Tajikistan’s interest in developing production with the Belarusian partners. The President of Belarus believes that the two countries have a lot to do.

The President of Tajikistan arrived in Belarus early on 26 November and visited one of the Belarusian industrial giants, the BelAZ Company in Zhodino.

Emomali Rahmon expressed interest in the supplies of the Belarusian equipment to Tajikistan on direct contacts, without mediators. He informed that next year the country would host exhibitions of the equipment produced in the two countries. The Tajik President also praised the idea of setting up joint ventures with the Belarusian side.
