In January-September 2009 the Mogilev oblast dairies exported 2,250 tonnes of dried skimmed milk to Kazakhstan, up two times from the same period of 2008, it was learnt from the Economy Committee of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee.

The Mogilev oblast also exported 1,575 tonnes of butter and 35,5 tonnes of cheese to Kazakhstan. The biggest exporters are Babushkina Krynka, Osipovichi dairy and Bykhovmoloko. This year their managers went to Kazakhstan to hold negotiations and product presentations. In particular, Babushkina Krynka signed agreements to deliver more than 600 tonnes of dairy products with five Kazakhstan companies such as Vek Impeks, Maslodel, Food Master, Eurasia Food and Nikos Milk Ltd. The negotiations on the export of baby dairy food to Kazakhstan are underway.

The Miasomolprom meat and dairy producers association is holding the negotiations on setting up a joint dairy facility in Kazakhstan and increasing the deliveries of dried skimmed milk, cheese, and butter to Kazakhstan.
