An economic mission of the Volga federal district of the Russian Federation will visit Belarus on 1-3 December. The business part of the delegation will include representatives of ministries and agencies as well as representatives of 118 Russian companies, it was learned from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

As part of the visit a presentation of economic opportunities of the Volga federal district of the Russian Federation will take place at the national expo center BelExpo on 2 December as well as business talks between representatives of Russian and Belarusian companies.

The talks will touch upon mutually beneficial cooperation, establishment of manufacturing cooperation ties, foundation of joint enterprises. For instance, the Russian company TsSKB-Progress is interested in setting up a joint enterprise to manufacture cryogenic equipment. There are plans to set up a joint enterprise together with the mechanical engineering company Neftemash SAPKON. The company specializes in pump, reservoir, gas and oil processing equipment and special technological equipment for various branches of the industry.

Minsk will welcome representatives of the companies Ural Steel, Orenburg Radiator, Saransk Instrument Plant and other companies. Russian companies specializing in woodworking, mechanical engineering, electronics, agriculture, civil engineering, petrochemical industry, power engineering will hold talks with Belarusian partners.

The Belarusian Foreign Ministry is the Belarusian organizer of the visit.
