HTP companies to present big projects at investment forum in Minsk...

Resident companies of the Belarus High-Tech Park (HTP) will present three big investment projects at the Belarusian Investment and Economic Forum which will be held in Minsk on 12-13 November, it was learnt from the High-Tech Park Administration.

The Synesis company proposes to create an innovation and research company to produce a multi-cam monitoring in smart video surveillance. The cost of the project is estimated at around €2 million. “The investments are necessary to finance research to update technology up to the production level, organize a sales service and implement innovations,” experts said. The new products are expected to be exported, first of all, to the CIS and then to other countries.

The YASO Backup company will propose a project on up-to-date Internet backup software. The investments are needed to update the product and to promote it into new markets. “The investment worth €2.5 million will allow the company to increase its sale proceeds up to €13 million and profits up to €5 million by 2012,” specialists noted.

The project of the Sacrament IT company is aimed at setting up the on-line software system, Sacrament-Assistant designed for PC and mobile devices. The company is looking to raise €440,000 for the first software release. The total cost is estimated at €1 million. Sacramento IT is ready to consider any forms of investment proposals.

The goal of the forum is to present Belarus’ investment potential, improve country’s image as a reliable international partner. The event is designed to help Belarusian companies establish direct contacts with investors. The forum will focus on such issues as Belarus’ advancement to the top thirty states with best business environment.
