Belkommunmash will assemble trolleybuses in St. Petersburg, it was learnt from the Belkommunmash Company.

Belkommunmash constantly develops new kinds of products. Its products are in popular demand on the Russian market. The implementation of the joint project in St. Petersburg has become a demonstrative example of the mutually beneficial cooperation between Belkommunmash and the Russian Federation.

Belkommunmash has already supplied a machine set of the Belkommunmash trolleybus (model 321) to St. Petersburg. There, an alternating current motor produced by the St. Petersburg-based Epro Company will be installed in the Belarusian trolleybus.

In early December, the new trolleybus will be presented to St. Petersburg Governor Valentina Matvienko. After the presentation, the sides will identify the delivery volumes of the Belarusian trolleybuses to St. Petersburg and the issues related to the funding of the new joint assembly production facility.

The co-founders of the project are Belkommunmash, TransMashGroup and Gorelectrotrans.

Belkommunmash was founded in 1973. The company employs more than 1,600 professionals. We can see the Belarusian trolleybuses in 50 regions of the CIS and other countries. The Belkommunmash-produced trolleybuses are exported to more than 30 regions of the Russian Federation from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok and also to Ukraine, Mongolia, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Moldova and Bulgaria.
