The Belarusian Association of Industrial Companies and the St. Petersburg Union of Industrialists and Businessmen have signed the cooperation agreement, it was learnt from the Belarusian Embassy in the Russian Federation. The document has been signed within the framework of the Innovation Week which is being held in St. Petersburg. Taking part in the forum are more than 400 companies including Belarusian companies.

Chairman of the Belarusian Association of Industrial Companies Anatoly Kharlap noted that Belarus shows an interest in the experience of St. Petersburg businessmen in their cooperation with the governmental bodies in the area of innovations, development and modernization of the national economy.

President of St. Petersburg Union of Industrialists and Businessmen Anatoly Turchak noted that the new Belarus-St. Petersburg joint program includes 63 avenues of the cooperation in various areas including the power-plant industry, electronics, cultural exchange, holding festivals and competitions.
