A delegation of the Belarusian business community will travel to Istanbul on 5 October. The visit will last till 8 October, it was learnt from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Belarusian delegation consists of officials of such major companies as Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) and Gomselmash, representatives of small and medium-sized companies that are interested in exporting their goods and services to the Turkish market. All in all, the delegation includes representatives of ten Belarusian organizations and companies.
The delegation is scheduled to take part in the 11th session of the Belarusian-Turkish Business Cooperation Council. The program of the visit also includes business meetings and negotiations between Belarusian and Turkish businessmen. The sides are going to establish direct contacts, discuss issues of mutually beneficial cooperation, export and import of goods and services, and possibilities of setting up joint companies.

The sessions of the Belarusian-Turkish Business Cooperation Council are held in Minsk or Istanbul every year. The last session was held in Istanbul in July 2008.
