News Nizhny Novgorod to assemble Mogilev elevators
The joint company set by the Mogilev-based Mogilevliftmash and Nizhny Novgorod-based Nizhegorodliftmash has obtained a permit to produce and use passenger elevators, it was learnt from the marketing department of the company. Russian certificate has been issued for the four most popular models of the Mogilev elevators – LP-0401B, LP-0463B, LP-0621B and LP-0611B. More than 400 elevator assembly sets have been already supplied to the joint company in Nizhny Novgorod. A part of them have been already assembled and supplied to other regions of the Russian Federation. In the future the company intends to expand the model lineup. At present Nizhegorodliftmash is one of the most serious and reliable partners of Mogilevliftmash in Russia. The joint company was set up on the base of the Nizhny Novgorod-based company Transenergo. The Mogilev side handed over technologies and necessary technical documentation to set up an assembly production facility. In 2009, Nizhegorodliftmash intends to produce more than 500 elevators. Nizhegorodliftmash was set up in 2007. The share of each side in the project – 50%. The first pilot samples of elevators were produced in early 2009.
