A delegation of St. Petersburg will visit the Grodno oblast on 17-19 September, it was learnt from the ideology department of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee.

On 17 September, the Russian delegation will visit the Slonim Meat and Packing Plant, the Volkovysk Meat and Packing Plant, Bellakt and Grodnokhleboprodukt. On 18-19 September, the delegation will get familiar with the work of ABC Company, the Grodno Meat and Packing Plant, Molochny Mir, the Lida Dairy Plant, Lidskoe Pivo Brewery.

On 18 September, Grodno will host the 4th session of the working group of the Belarus – St. Petersburg Business Cooperation Council. St. Petersburg Vice Governor Mikhail Oseevsky will arrive in Grodno to take part in the work of the session. The Belarusian side will be led by Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov.

The Grodno Oblast Executive Committee and the Administration of the Central District of St. Petersburg are expected to sign the agreement on trade, economic, sci-tech, humanitarian and cultural cooperation. The Grodno oblast, the Admiralteisky District and the Central District of St. Petersburg are expected to sign the cooperation program for 2009-2011.
