Mogilev-based unitary enterprise Olsa plans to export campsite furniture to Latin America, it was learnt from the company’s marketing department.

“We are steadily diversifying into foreign markets and are now seeking partners in the countries of Latin America. The Belarusian-made campsite furniture is similar to the best foreign analogues in its price and quality and is in demand on the Latin American market,” the Olsa specialists stressed. According to them, the export to Latin America will help strengthen the company’s export positions and reduce the off-season demand impact on the production. Olsa is also negotiating the supplies of campsite furniture with one of its Indian partners.

The demand for campsite furniture has considerably reduced due to the end of the season. “We need to produce a substantial amount of products to be prepared for the next season. The recent years have showed that warehouse stocks are usually sold out by July,” the specialists said.

A many-year experience, highly-qualified personnel and the company’s fleet enable the whole production circle inside the company. The company develops up to 30% of new products annually.

Last year the company installed a new polymeric coating line to increase the productivity and quality of coating, expand the color range (from 2 to 5), which allows meeting the requirements of the most demanding customers. Campsite furniture (more than 50 articles) is now in great demand in Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan, and other CIS countries.

In January-August this year, the company’s output increased by 58.1% from the same period last year to Br19.1 billion. Export was up by 50.1% to $3.4 million.

Founded in 1932, the company is Belarus and CIS’s biggest producer of campsite furniture. The company employs more than 600 people.
