Udmurtia to produce Belarusian harvesters
Izh-Lida, a Belarusian-Russian joint venture, opened in Balezino, the Republic of Udmurtia, the Russian Federation on 12 August. The facility will assemble Lidagroprommash harvesters, it was learned from press office of the government of Udmurtia.
It took only six months to set up the joint production. The decision on its establishment was made this year. The Belarusian side will hold the majority interest of the company, which plans to produce 50 harvesters in 2010.
