A productive dialogue is shaping up between and on the high-level and also between ministries, departments and civic society, it was learnt from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the FRG Andrei Giro. 

“ Germany is one of Belarus’ main partners in the EU and is one of the major trading partners. Last year the two countries had a record high trade in goods and services, $4 billion. Despite the global crisis, we will have to take all efforts to preserve the current level of trade and to prevent the decrease in the Belarusian export to the FRG,” the Ambassador said. 

The Belarusian Embassy intends to promote the Belarusian-German political dialogue, create more opportunities for closer economic interaction and attract German investment.
