In January-May 2009, the Belarusian Cement Works produced 424,500 tonnes of cement, up 3% on the same period in 2008. 

All in all, the Belarusian Cement Works dispatched 439,400 tonnes of cement, up 6.2% from the same point last year. Cement supplies to foreign markets have considerably grown. In January-May 2009 the company exported 64,600 tonnes of cement, up 14.6 times over the same period last year. The products were delivered to the – the Kaliningrad, Bryansk, Kaluga, Smolensk and other oblasts. The company is currently developing the Baltic and Polish markets. 

Over the five months the company produced 36,600 tonnes of lime, 86.1% to January-May 2008. 

On the whole, in January-May 2009, the Belarusian Cement Works increased its industrial output in comparable prices by 6,8% as against the same period last year up to Br103 billion. Profitability of the sold products over the period under review made up 9.5%. 

The Belarusian Cement Works was founded in 1996. The company employs nearly 1,300 professionals.
