On 27 December, 1968 a new exhibition pavilion was open in 27 Ya.Kupala str., Minsk. This event appeared to be the basis of the development of exhibition business in Belarus. Later the Exhibition of Public Economy Achievements was open in this pavilion. For many years the Exhibition of Public Economy Achievements had been active in this exhibition area. In 25 years the Exhibition of Public Economy Achievements was reorganized into Republican Exhibition Center which main aim was to organize and to hold national and international exhibitions.

On the initiative of Directorate of Affairs of the President of the Republic of Belarus two Minsk exhibition pavilions (situated in 27 Ya.Kupala str. and 14 Pobediteley ave.) were joined on the basis of the Republican Exhibition Center in autumn, 1996. The Republican Exhibition Center was renamed as “BelExpo” National Exhibition Center of Directorate of Affairs of the President of the Republic of Belarus on 11 February, 1998.

Nowadays it is a large exhibition company which possesses an exhibition pavilion of 5000 sq.m. (indoor exhibition area) situated in 27 Ya.Kupala str. and an exhibition pavilion of 3000 sq.m. (indoor exhibition area) situated in 14 Pobediteley ave.. The structure of “BelExpo” NEC includes 15 departments.

The organization of international, regional, universal and specialized exhibitions is the main sphere of activity of “BelExpo” NEC. All significant international and republican exhibitions are held in the exhibition pavilions of “BelExpo” NEC. We also cooperate with many other exhibition companies such as “MinskExpo” JSC, “Expoforum” EC, “T&C” JSC and others.

Today one of our main objectives is to hold exhibitions on a high professional level using up-to-date electronic equipment and designs. We do our best to provide exhibitors with the conditions which will make for the success of their work during exhibitions. “BelExpo” National Exhibition Center possesses two stationary exhibition halls situated in 27 Ya.Kupala str. and 14 Pobediteley ave. Their total area equals to 8000 sq.m. Besides there is an additional temporary pavilion situated in 27 Ya.Kupala str. Its total area is 1100 sq.m.
