Kommunarka confection factory seeks to start supplies to , and to diversify its export, Marketing Deputy Director General Dmitry Shulga told. 

These are brand new markets for Kommunarka. The opportunity to supply confectionery to opened up after the national exhibition of Belarus in Warsaw, in which Kommunarka took part. That is why the factory is studying the Polish market and defining the prospects of cooperation with the neighbouring countries. 

The factory is signing a contract with China . The negotiations on supplying confectionary to are underway. The company is set to take part in the Belarusian exhibition in Kiev next week. Kommunarka experts have participated in the national exhibitions of Belarus in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Libya in 2009, where they conducted a number of negotiations on long-term cooperation. 

Kommunarka exports 30% of its products to the USA, Russia, Germany, Israel and other countries. Annually Kommunarka takes part in the national and international food and confectionary exhibitions including All Candy (Chicago), ISM (Cologne), World Food (Moscow) and Prodexpo ( Minsk ). The company gains experts’ appreciation and gets prestigious awards. 

Founded in 1931, Kommunarka is one of the country’s largest confectionaries. The company produces up to 25,000 tonnes of products every year. The assortment varies from candies and chocolate to toffee, candy drops, waffles. The company employs nearly 1,500 professionals.
