Lidagroprommash intends to set up two joint ventures in Russia

In the near future Lidagroprommash intends to set up two joint ventures more in the to assemble grain combine harvesters, Andrei Zakharchuk, deputy director for marketing and sales of the company told.

According to him, at present, their Russian partners show great interest in new combine harvester Lida-1600

The first joint venture engaged in assembling Belarusian grain combine harvesters Lida-1300 was set up in Russian Omsk in March this year. Lidagroprommash and Mechanical Plant Kalachinsky ( Omsk oblast) have set up the Omsklidagromash joint venture. All in all, the new venture is expected to make 50 vehicles in 2009 and increase the output to 100 by 2011. 

Recently, representatives of Lidagroprommash have visited as part of the Grodno oblast delegation. “Latvian businessmen showed an interest in our products. They intend to visit the company within the framework of the Lida-Region-2009 Exhibition,” Andrei Zakharchuk said. 

In January-June, Lidagroprommash’s export is expected to make up 136% as against the same period of 2008. 

Over the five months 2009, Lidagroprommash produced products at the amount of Br78 billion, or 16.6% up as against the same period of 2008. The productivity of labour increased by 16.4%. 

Lidagroprommash was founded in 1958. In 2003, it was reorganized into an open joint stock company. This is one of ’ major producers of farm machines. The lineup includes more than 25 types of machines. Lidagroprommash employs around 1,000 professionals.
