Belarus-China Great Stone Park viewed as industrial revolution idea

The Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park Great Stone is a landmark event, a bright example of the implementation of an idea of the new industrial revolution initiated by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the 2016 G20 Hangzhou summit, Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Nikolai Snopkov said in an interview to the Zvyazda newspaper, BelTA has learned. The fifth China-Eurasia Expo was held in Urumqi, China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on 20-25 September. Belarus took part in the expo as the Guest of Honor. Head of the Belarusian delegation Nikolai Snopkov noted that the China-Eurasia Expo proved that such a revolution helps the world evolve through economic crises and other instabilities. In his words, Belarus puts the Expo 2016 motto in practice: joint discussion, joint development, and joint use. The Chinese-Belarusian Park is a vivid example of the joint implementation of the Silk Road Economic Belt concept. “The Industrial Park which was cited by Xi Jinping as a pearl of the Silk Road will make a breakthrough in the economic cooperation between our countries. This international project has already been catching interest of investors and industrialists from the countries of Europe, Asia and the United States,” Nikolai Snopkov said. Under the instruction of the leaders of China and Belarus, the most comfortable doing business conditions were created in the park. The joint work with Chinese partners will help develop the park in the tideway of promising areas of the modern economy. As for the China-Eurasia Expo, it will play an important role in boosting Belarusian-Chinese relations within the next five years, Nikolai Snopkov is confident. As was informed, the area of the Belarusian exhibition stands that featured over 40 leading companies of the country totaled 360 square meters.
