Amkodor’s export up almost 50% in January-July

In January-July 2011 Amkodor increased the export of special-purposed equipment by almost 50%, BelTA learnt from the company.

Russia remains the main sales market. In the seven months from January to July Amkodor shipped 928 units of equipment there, which was 2.3 times more than in the same period of 2010. The company stepped up its activities on the Ukrainian market and delivered 22 units of equipment to Amkodor Ukrospetsmash, its distributor in Ukraine.

In January-July 2011 production growth made up 226% in current and 162.3% in comparable prices as against the same period last year. The company has been steadily developing its lineup. Amkodor plans to start the production of graders, travelling cranes, asphalt laying machines. The company also constantly improves its maintenance service system.

Amkodor is one of the CIS’ and Europe’s largest manufacturers of road construction vehicles, municipal, snow-removing, timber industry, agricultural machines and other special vehicles. The product range includes over 80 models and modifications. Amkodor vehicles are used in more than 30 countries across the globe. The company employs about 5,000 people.
