On behalf of Belarus and himself President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko expressed condolences to King of Norway Herald V as well as families of the people who died in the terrorist attacks perpetrated earlier this weekend in Oslo and on the island of Utoya, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian President.

“It is with great sorrow that we learnt the news of this tragedy in Norway which claimed people’s lives. The Republic of Belarus strongly condemns violence which victimizes innocent people and is solidarity with Norway in the fight against any forms and manifestations of terrorism and extremism,” the message of condolence says.
