The Belarus Economy Day was held in Frankfurt am Main on 7 July, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

The event aimed to present business opportunities in Belarus. The forum was organized by the German law firm Belarus Consulting that provides consulting services to German companies who want to operate in Belarus.

Taking part in the event were representatives of over 40 German companies seeking to expand business contacts with Belarus.

Counselor of the Belarusian Embassy in Germany Konstantin Chizhik presented a report on the current development trends of the Belarusian economy, the advantages of doing business and investing in Belarus and privatization projects. Deputy head of the Belarusbank office in Germany Sergei Girach told about the financing of investment projects and commercial transactions
