The Government calls for a wide-ranging discussion of Belarus’ draft social and economic development forecast for 2011-2015, Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky said as he met with the Polotsk-Steklovolokno personnel on 12 November.

The major priority for the next five years is the country’s human-rated innovation development. The principle goal of the coming five-year period is the further growth in the country’s prosperity and wellbeing of its population. The draft program envisages a 1.7-1.76-time rise in the people’s real income in 2015 over 2010, with alongside 1.62-1.68-time growth in GDP, 1.63-1.68-time increase in labor productivity and 1.54-1.6-time increase in the industrial output.

Sergei Sidorsky invited the Belarusian citizens to more active debates on the draft social and economic development forecast “to help finalize the document for its discussion at the 4th All-Belarusian People’s Congress”.
