Bobruiskagromash has displayed its products at the international agricultural exhibition, Landbouwwerktuigenbeurs 2009, in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, it was learnt from the company’s marketing department.

The exposition of the company has been organized jointly with a Dutch partner, the firm, Belarus Nederland S.H. Minnema, under the auspices of the Embassy of Belarus in the Netherlands. “The participation in the forum is one of the first steps made by Bobruisk-based company within the programme of expanding the geography of its export in the countries of Western Europe,” the marketing department said.

The dump truck semi-trailer PST-9 was a highlight of the exposition. It is designed to transport various agricultural freights, grain, organic fertilizers, construction materials. In 2004 the dump truck semi-trailer PST-9 was a prizeholder of the contest, Best Goods of the Republic of Belarus at the Market of the Russian Federation.

The first Landbouwwerktuigenbeurs exhibition was held in 1948. It is the largest agricultural exhibition in the Netherlands. Dutch and European agricultural producers showcase their products there on 14-17 December. The total area of the exposition is 52,000 square meters. The organizers hope the exhibition will be attended by more than 50,000 visitors from the Netherlands and neighboring countries.

Bobruiskagromash is one of the largest producers of agricultural machines in Belarus. The company produces agricultural machines, mainly forage harvesters and distributors and organic fertilizer distributors and also machines for applying mineral fertilizers, roll flax harvesters, trailed vehicles for tractors and some other agricultural machines. At present the company employs around 2,400 people. Founded in 1974, the company was reorganized into a joint-stock company in 2005. In January-November 2009 the industrial output in comparable prices totaled Br210 billion, up 12.2% over the same period last year. The company exported $33.8 million worth of products. In 2009 Bobruiskagromash exported its products to Finland, Czechia, Lithuania, Latvia, Serbia and Bulgaria.
