In agriculture, peat is used for composting. We extract peat for composting is from low-lying deposits. The decomposition degree of the mining layer of peat deposits is at least 20%. Quality standards: Moisture: 60% and less Ash content: 25% and less Clogging: no more than 10% Peat is extracted from folding units (stacks) by a special complex of peat-producing machines. Peat is stored in open-air stacks for up to a year or more on dry sites (substable strips) that are not flooded by meltwater and ground water. Peat is transported mainly by road all year-round.
