Brazil shows interest in setting up a technological park, a tractor assembling plant, and a fertilizer mixing plant jointly with Belarusian enterprises. The matter was discussed during the working visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Brazil Leonid Krupets to the Brazilian state of Parana, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Leonid Krupets met with Parana Governor Beto Richa. The parties exchanged views on the current state and development prospects of the bilateral trade and economic relations and discussed matters related to the establishment of cooperation ties between Parana and Belarus' Grodno Oblast. The Ambassador also met with heads of major departments of the Parana Government, the Legislative Assembly, representatives of the Parana Trade Association, the State Industry Federation, the Institute of Technologies and Nature Conservation, the Parana Cooperative Organization, with deputy rector of the Federal University of Parana and businessmen. Ways to step up bilateral cooperation in different areas were discussed. The Brazilian side showed eagerness to develop cooperation in science and education. Belarus' economic, industrial, and scientific potential was presented during the meetings.
