(BelTA) – Prospects of Belarusian-Chinese bilateral investment cooperation, including as part of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park project, were discussed by Belarusian Economy Minister Nikolai Snopkov and members of the delegation of the city of Harbin, China on 29 July, BelTA learned from the Public Relations Department of the Belarusian Economy Ministry.

A Harbin government delegation led by Vice Mayor Nie Yunling is in Belarus on a visit.

BelTA has been told that during the talks the Belarusian side underlined the importance of determining a specific location for Harbin enterprises to become part of the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park so that the enterprises could set up a Harbin subpark (as early as the ongoing designing and infrastructure construction stage) as well as participation of the Harbin government in the capital of the joint management company.

At the meeting the sides reached an agreement to refine forms of cooperation during the implementation of the previously signed agreements on the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park project, said the source. The arrangements that have been made and the tasks that have been set will become a priority for further work and the foundation for fruitful Belarusian-Chinese investment cooperation.
