Belarus and Kazakhstan are actively cooperating in integration organizations, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said as he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus Anatoly Smirnov who is concluding his diplomatic mission in Belarus, BelTA has learnt.

The head of state noted that another friend of Belarus is leaving the country for objective reasons. Anatoly Smirnov who has worked in Belarus for three years is concluding his diplomatic mission. Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that an ambassador should seek to improve the relations between his country and the country of stay, to identify and solve problems. “Unfortunately, it is not always like that. Belarus sees it with its own eyes. You are the person who can be called the true envoy of the friendly state of Kazakhstan with which we are building strategic relations,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

The President emphasized that Belarus and Kazakhstan are members of the most economically integrated organization and the military and political organization. Alexander Lukashenko noted that Anatoly Smirnov has made a contribution to promoting integration. “You have always been an active person and you have actively promoted our relations”.

Alexander Lukashenko thanked the Kazakhstan Ambassador for his considerable contribution to the Belarus-Kazakhstan relations. He noted that Anatoly Smirnov is always welcome in Belarus.
