Nutrition facts per 100 g of product: protein-10 g fat - 2,5 g carbohydrates – 65 g Energy value per 100 g of product- 320 kcal/1350 kj Cooking instructions based on one portion of (g) flakes – 100 g water – 150 g milk – 150 g butter, salt, sugar to taste. Milk diluted with water, add salt, bring to a boil, pour cereal, mix and leave to swell for 5 minutes. Add sugar, butter to taste. Bon appetite! Barley is the richest and best source of beta glucans which promote maintenance of normal level of sugar and decrease cholesterol in blood. Manganese and selenium promotes a good type of hair and nails, normal functioning of a thyroid gland, a normal metabolism. Try to prepare barley flakes with dried fruits, it is also possible to extinguish them with mushrooms and vegetables, to add to soups.
